Oh, HEY THERE. That was the sound of my snowboard gliding down the hills of Mount St. Louis yesterday 🙂 Never in a million years did I think I’d be snowboarding and loving it! Yesterday’s lesson with instructor Matt was all about finding a rhythm with snowboarding. You’ve seen me try to conquer turns on the hills, and this lesson was all about moving a little more smoothly. I think by my next (and last) lesson, I’ll have gotten it thanks to Matt!
It was also really cool being on the Moonstone side of Mount. St. Louis for the first time. It was so pretty snowboarding with trees around us! AND we got to watch other snowboarders make some crazy jumps on the outdoor terrain park while we were on the chairlift. Pretty awesome!
At the end of this week’s video… a little surprise for you. Think quicksand…. but in snow form. I can honestly say this was the first time anything like this has ever happened to me in my 5 lessons… oopsie!
Thanks again to Corbett’s Ski + Snowboard for my snowboarding outfit- I’m getting really good use out of it! 🙂
