This note left for a customer by a Domino’s Pizza employee in Texas is going viral.
A nurse working the overnight shift ordered a pizza for delivery 5 minutes before closing at a Domino’s Pizza in Paris TX.
People are pretty upset that an employee would take out their frustrations on a customer who ordered within the business hours.
A friend of the nurse told CBS DFW “I don’t care if they called one minute ‘til, the business is still open. Service your customers!”
The friend was particularly shocked that such a note would be written to a nurse who saves lives. “How would you feel if you wrote something like that and then the next day you were laying there?”
He’s got a point. A nurse can’t get mad if someone gets rushed in with a medical emergency two minutes before their shift is over.
Domino’s has issued a statement regarding the incident: “We do not condone or encourage this kind of behavior or one-sided ‘dialogue’ with our customers”
I’ve worked in the food industry and as frustrating as it can be, you serve your customers until the minute you close. This was an upset employee who take out their frustrations on the wrong person. They definitely spoke out of turn and this shouldn’t reflect poorly on Domino’s…
